Short Bio

As a Trainer, Auditor, and Consultant on Dangerous Goods and Wastes, Mark Roehler has a philosophy of attempting to make customized training easy. His goal to assist his clients in understanding complicated Canadian legislation, in particular WHMIS, TDG and provincial waste regulations.

Accomplishments:

Founding principal of LEHDER Environmental Services and proud of the family approach to business that was built there while helping to maintain a safe work environment.
Passionate about safety which is evident in his volunteering, where he is the chair of the Sarnia Steps for Life walk and is a health and safety instructor for young students through the HSAP program of WSPS.
Main passion is to assist clients in the understanding and application of Canadian regulations to their operations. He takes great pride in his ability to customize his training to the client's needs so they can determine how their products or waste streams are affected by these legislations, while also insuring their employees are handling in a safe manner to protect the environment and their selves.

Services

Customized Training:

Customized Canadian regulatory training, espescially on Dangerous Goods, Canadian Hazardous Waste or WHMIS regulations. This training is based on a client’s products or waste streams generated.

Training can be delivered onsite, virtually at your pace or via webinar.

Video Creation:

Mark can provide various types of videos to be used for training purposes. These videos again can be customized to your facilities specific needs to meet Canadian regulations.

Video types include whiteboard, sketch, tutorial or educational videos.

Consulting:

In Canada, dangerous goods are regulated by the Transportation of Dangerous Goods and hazardous waste are regulated by the various provinces.

These can be a complex set of regulations to understand. Mark has over 38 years of experience with these regulations to offer guidance.

Documentation Creation:

Safety onboarding, or regulatory training can be more effective when they relate to the task at hand.

We can create “How To” or “Training” documentation that includes screen shots / recordings to help emphasize the steps needed to be completed and build competency. Customized testing can be included to help measure comprehension.

Regulatory Insights Community

Mark Roehler Training Services is building a Community called “Regulatory Insights”. This community is to explore insights into Canadian regulations.

Objectives:

Build a thriving community around Canadian regulations in particular TDG, Ontario Waste Regulation 347 and WHMIS at the beginning.

Target Audience:

Target audience is business and individual professionals that are not only interested in compliance of Canadian regulations, but also of what are best practices and how do I ensure the safety of my employees.
